My mission is to help you cultivate a personalized plan for healing and change. Together, I believe we can collaboratively break through energetic and psychological barriers that are holding you back from living the authentic life you desire. Let's walk together as you develop a deeper awareness of your own mind, body, and soul.
I believe in healing our own wounds for the greater good. My innate curiosity and love of learning helps me bring energy and connection to therapy sessions. I enjoy working with clients who also have curious minds and a desire for personal growth. I value a holistic perspective, encouraging care for mind, body, and soul. My approach incorporates compassion for self and others, mindful somatic awareness, and intentional behavior change. I will encourage clients to slow down and notice the patterns that show up in their lives. Through deepened awareness, we have the ability to choose different ways of thinking, being, and doing.
Training and Experience
I began my training as a marriage and family therapist in 2004 and adopted a systemic perspective, recognizing that behavior makes sense in context. Noticing patterns and becoming aware of our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors helps us feel empowered to create change. I have been providing therapy to clients for 20 years and have worked with individuals, couples, and family systems. It is important to me to create a sense of safety within the therapeutic relationship while incorporating research-based interventions. Through the years, I have witnessed the value of somatic experiencing and incorporate this perspective when working with my patients.
I specialize in EMDR therapy, which I integrate into my practice at many levels. I have spent years as an EMDR consultant, helping other therapists incorporate this therapy into their practices. I am passionate about sharing the healing potential of EMDR therapy with others.
I provide psychological evaluations for those seeking diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations. I am a Kansas state board-approved supervisor for LMLPs and LMFTs.
I also enjoy providing supervision for those working toward clinical licensure.
